This feature allows for one common contact flow to be configured differently based on the DNIS, and to be managed from within the OMP.
Contact Entry Points are a quick and easy way of associating call logic to your phone numbers in Amazon Connect.
Entry points into a call center can be generalized in two different ways:
-
Direct path entry points - to queues or agents
-
Branching entry points - menus
Flow Engine's EPM is flexible enough to handle both types of entry points. You can send the call to:
-
A queue using a Flow Engine Queue Treatment
-
A queue using a prebuilt queue treatment in Connect
-
A custom menu in Menu Management
-
A prebuilt flow in Connect.
-
An external phone number
-
A message before disconnecting the call.
-
An agent queue.
